'Why so soon?'

'Why so soon?'

You knew my mysteries.
You unveiled my secrets,
You broke the chains that locked my heart against the world of love and life.

Suddenly,
You were gone with the devouring whirlwind,
Which took you away without mercy, despite my plea.

You bade me no farewell,
It was a journey of no return.
My tears could not bring you back,
My mourning could not convey you back to the land of the living.
You were gone forever.

But I still hear your voice.
When the whirlwind comes again, seeking whom to devour
Your face appears in my dreams.
I still call your name as though you were here.

Now that you are gone never to return.
My heart is about to close again,
To what you opened it to.
I can't stop asking questions though they are unanswered 
"When will you return?" I ask with tears everday, hoping for an answer.

And when mercy found me,
A voice answered me;
"He is gone forever, wait till you see him again in the world yonder, where his soul rests".
